Photograph of the temple of Somesvara at Malsiras in the Sholapur District of Maharashtra, taken by Henry Cousens for the Archaeological Survey of India Collections: Western India 1897-98. The temple at Malsiras stands on a high platform and is in a ruinous state; the tower has collapsed and some of the pillars of the mandapa stand without the covering roof. It seems to have been left unfinished. 20.6 x 28.8 Centimetres. Photographer: Cousens, Henry.
