ResumoAndrés Manuel del Río Fernández was a prominent Spanish scientist. Between 1792 and 1849, del Río was professor of chemistry at the Real Seminario of Mexico City and explored mines in the Mexican territory. This volume contains three of his works: "Arte de minas" (1 May 1816); "Tratado de vetas...para uso de Mariano Goyzueta (n.d.);" and "Tratado de geometría subterránea (n.d.)." The texts, probably handwritten by the author, deal with the construction of mines and the exploration for minerals. Includes drawings. 1816
