ResumoBased on the provisions of the Council of Trent for the creation of seminaries, this article tackles the history of the Seminary of the Diocese of Coria, from April 9, 1957, by Bull of Pius XII called Diocese of Coria-Caceres, from 1603 to 1985, the union of the two seminaries, Major and Minor, in the building of the city of Caceres. The Foundation of the Seminary in Caceres, in 1603, by Bishop Mr Peter Garcia the Galarza, the transfer in 1819 to the City of Coria, by Bishop Don Blas Jacobo Beltran, around the city of Caceres Major Seminary in 1954 and the new building for the Minor Seminary in Coria, with Bishop Hon. Immanuel Llopis Ivorra.
