El presente estudio se realizo con el fin de describir el crecimiento anatomico y morfologico de la flor de uchuva (Physalis peruviana L.) desde inicio de boton floral hasta la formacion del fruto. El trabajo de campo se realizo en una plantacion de P. peruviana ubicada en el Centro Experimental Botana de la Universidad de Narino, ubicado a 2796 m.s.n.m., con temperatura promedio anual de 13°C, precipitacion pluvial de 803 mm/ano y humedad relativa de 82%. La apertura floral ocurrio a los 37 dias entre las 7:00 y 10:30 a.m. En el 85% de las flores la primera antera esta dehiscente al dia siguiente de la apertura floral y finaliza tres dias despues de la apertura. Los granos de polen mostraron un arreglo tetraedral y tricolpado, la placentacion es de tipo axial, biloculada y bilobulada ABSTRACT The present study was carried out with the main objetive of describing the anatomical and morphological growth of the flower of golden berry (Physalis peruviana) from floral until the formation of the fruit. The field work was made in a plantation of golden berry located in the Experimental Botana Center of the Universidad de Narino situated at 2796 m.s.n.m., with annual average temperature of 13°C, a pluvial precipitation of 803 mm/year and a relative humidity of 82%. The floral opening occurrer to the 37 days between 7:00 to 10:30 a.m. In 85% of the flowers when first onther is dehiscent one day after the floral opening and it finishes three days after the opening. The grains of the pollen showed a tetrahedial and tricopate formation, the placentation is the axial type, bilocule and bidissected.
