ResumoSUSI (Superviseur pour Unité de Soins Intensifs) is the computer system we have developed for intensive care units in order to achieve three goals: The system can be connected to the major computers of the Hospital (central management, laboratory). It is running since early 1983 in a 15 bed I.C.U., of a non-university community hospital. The system performs administrative, nursing and clinical tasks. It runs on a GMX II computer (Motorola 6809 processor), 320 Kbytes central memory, 19 Mbytes Winchester, two printers, 9 video terminals (one of them graphical) located in the physician and head nurses offices, in the central area of the unit and in the patient rooms. The system can be connected to the major computers of the Hospital (central management, laboratory). It is running since early 1983 in a 15 bed I.C.U., of a non-university community hospital. It is connected to all bedside monitoring units and to a bench gas analyzer.
