Resumo: O artigo busca analisar as proximidades conceituais e principio logicas entre o Direito Administrativo e o Direito Urbanistico, afirmando a existencia de uma area concentrica, mas tambem apresentando elementos que permitem diferencia-los. Investiga as causas de imbricacao destes ramos juridicos, desenvolvendo questionamentos a partir da analise das competencias legislativas atribuidas pela Constituicao Federal de 1988 e apresenta os pressupostos metodologicos capazes de fundamentar criterios de distincao. Discorre sobre a incidencia de superposicao e inter-relacionamento entre os diversos ramos do Direito e minudencia as consequencias do uso de categorias juridicas do Direito Administrativo e do Direito Civil no campo urbanistico. Por fim, aprofunda a analise do Direito Urbanistico, conceituando-o e apresentando sua esfera de abrangencia legislativa e seu campo de atuacao executiva, com o que expoe a dimensao sistemica da legislacao urbanistica e do planejamento urbano. Abstract: Urban Law and Administrative Law: similarities and relationship The article analyzes similarities in concepts and principies between Administrative Law and Urban Law, affirming the existence of a concentrical area, though presenting elements that allow differentiating them. lt investigates the causes of legal systems relationship, by developing questions from the analysis of the legislative function's limits established by the 1988Federal Constitution. Further it presents the methodological principies that distinguish thern. 1t mentions the overlapping incidence and relationship between the legal systems and it details the consequences of the use of Administrative Law categories and Civil Law categories in Urban Law. Finally, it details the analysis of the Urban Law, presenting its concept, the legislative's object, and executive performance of the Urban Law in order to display the dimension of the urban laws and the urban planning.
