Resumo : Este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar algumas reflexoes sobre a negacao metalinguistica no quadro das teorias semântico-pragmaticas. Estas reflexoes restringem-se a uma tentativa de sistematizacao de alguns estudos sobre o pressuposto, em relacao a sua manutencao ou a seu cancelamento, em proposicoes cujo conteudo posto e negado (Ducrot, 1977, 1987; Gazdar, 1979; Levinson, 1983; Horn, 1989; Moura, 1998). Pretende-se tambem procurar evidencias empiricas deste tipo de negacao (no Banco de Dados do Projeto VARSUL/UFSC) no sentido de corroborar a hipotese segundo a qual um pressuposto pode ser negado pragmaticamente, a depender das crencas e do conhecimento compartilhado que se tem em relacao ao interlocutor de um enunciado. Abstract : The objetive of this work is to show some thoughts about the metalinguistic denial on the frame of the semantic-pragmatic theories. These thoughts restrict to a attempt of the systematization of the some studies about the maintenance or cancellation of pressupposition whose placed content is denied (Ducrot, 1977, 1987; Gazdar, 1979; Levinson, 1983; Horn, 1989; Moura, 1998). I intend to look for empiric evidences about this sort of denials, at the Varsul/UFSC Project Data Basis, for corroborate the hypothesis according to the pressupposition can be pragmatically denied, depending on the believes and the shared knowledge the locutor has in the relationship to the interlocutor of the statement.
