A total of 1,112 species of Lepidoptera are reported from the Archbold Biological Station based on literature citations, specimens in collections, and new surveys. Two families of monotrysian Lepidoptera (Nepticulidae and Incurvariidae) and 41 families of Ditrysia occur at the station. Over 65% of the Lepidoptera species present at the Archbold station belong to the Noctuidae, Pyralidae, Geometridae, and Tortricidae.
