Resumo

De certa forma, o Papa Bento XVI surpreendeu o mundo com sua Enciclica Deus caritas est. Ao apresentar o conteudo fundamental da fe crista sobre o amor e a realizacao dinâmica do amor, envolve o matrimonio. A relacao entre o eros e o agape faz uma estruturacao diferenciada para o amor no matrimo-nio. O cristianismo nao veio destruir o amor, mas eleva-lo e sobrenaturaliza-lo, na abertura para Deus e para os demais, o que ocorre de forma especial no matrimonio. Palavras-chave: Enciclica Deus caritas est; amor matrimonial; amor sobrena-turalizado. Abstract In a certain manner, the Pope Benedict XVI astonished the world with his en-cyclical letter Deus caritas est. Presenting the fundamental content of the Christian faith about the love and the dynamic achievement of the love he in-volves the marriage. The relation between the eros and the agape shows a dif-ference for the love in the marriage The christianity doesn’t destroy the love, but elevates it to a supernatural level specially in the marriage.
