These 35 articles record a total of only 50 patients experiencing reactions from liver extract by injection. The condition is by no means so rare, however, as the above number would indicate. In this article we are reporting 11 additional cases, four seen personally and seven whose detailed histories were given us by two of our colleagues (table 1).
