Hury wn tfijiort some incidental observations on two iguana [Iguana iguana) nests at la Mancha, Vfcracru¿, México. Teniperatures in the nest sites were nieasured daily during the incubation pnriod. Twentv one re¿u1ing& in 1 991 and twenty six in 1 992 were taken at several depths [surface, 20 and 35 cml during tree weeks at different times of the day. We observed the behavior of the female at the nest and ttie diurnal nest emergence and behavior performed by hatchiings. Emergence peaked between 1 1 30 h and 1 300h m both years
