ResumoTen resin glycosides (jalapins) named tuguajalapins I-X were isolated from the root of Merremia hungaiensis. Their structures have been determined on the bases of chemical and spectral data. Unlike the jalapins so far reported, all of their acyl groups consist of two or three long-chain fatty acids, that is, palmitic, stearic and/or arachidic acids.
