Indeed, the two names were considered synonymous by the overwhelming majority of competent investigators of this baffling problem.2In 1893 Kundrat of Vienna recorded a study of 50 cases of lymphosarcoma in which the following tissues and organs were involved: lymph glands, skin, subcutaneous tissues, muscles, breasts, bones, dura, tongue, palate, pharynx, tonsils, larynx, trachea, bronchi, lungs, pleura, thyroid, thymus, pericardium, vena cava, esophagus, stomach, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, cecum, rectum, peritoneum,...References1.
