Resumo Na Franca, a lei do “1% artistico”, impoe ao Estado e as Coletividades Territoriais reservar 1% do custo do edificio que eles estao construindo para encomendar uma ou varias obras de arte a artistas. Certos artistas colocam a obra em evidencia, mas o publico que a ve, a observa realmente? Outros a escondem para que a contemplacao seja um ato voluntario. Certos artistas se fundem na obra arquitetonica e dialogam com ela, enquanto outros ficam em oposicao em relacao a ela. Um edificio, e as obras que ele guarda, resume a diversidade dessas iniciativas: trata-se do Conservatorio Nacional Superior de Musica e de Danca de Paris. E atraves desse exemplo que examinaremos as relacoes entre obra de arte e seu envelope. Palavras-chave Politica cultural e ambiental. Edificio publico. Arquitetura. Arte. Musica. Abstract In France, the law of the “1% for artistic work” imposes on the State or on the public authorities, to reserve 1% of the cost of the building which they build, to order one or several works of art. Certain artists want their work to be very much visible, but does the public look at it, even if it sees it? Others hide them so that the pondering is a voluntary act. Certain artists base themselves on the architectural work and have a dialogue with it, whereas others oppose to it. A building in particular, and the works of art which it contains, summarizes well the diversity of these approaches, it is about the Higher National Conservatory for Music and Dance of Paris.
