ResumoA presente pesquisa objetiva conhecer a insercao de conteudos do periodo tecnico-cientifico-informacional em Uberlândia, especificamente no que diz respeito a sua manifestacao espacial, isto e, a constituicao e expansao do meio tecnico-cientifico-informacional, cuja ocorrencia data dos anos de 1970. A partir dai, buscou-se tambem compreender as relacoes entre esses indicadores modernizantes e a consolidacao do papel regional da referida cidade. Palavras chave : meio tecnico-cientifico-informacional, sistemas de objetos e sistemas de acoes, horizontalidades e verticalidades. ABSTRACT The present study aims recognizing the insertion of contents from techno-scientific-informational period in Uberlândia, specifically regarding the space occupies, that is, the constructing and expanding of a techno-scientificinformational milieu, which emerged in the decade of 1970. From this point, an understanding of the relationship between these modernizing indicators and the consolidation of the regional position of the abovementioned city was sought.
