Ozet: Bu araflt›rmada yurdumuzun relikt bitkilerinden biri olan ve ulkemiz Subasar ormanlar›ndan sadece Hac› Osman Subasar orman ekosisteminde lokal olarak bulunan Pterocarya fraxinifolia'n›n (Poiret) Spach'n›n odun ic morfolojisi, ekolojik ozellikleri ve P. fraxinifolia ormanlar›n›n fitososyolojik yap›s› ortaya konmufltur. Yine turu ulkemizdeki yay›l›fl› etud edilmifltir. Cal›flma sonuclar›; Turkiye'de odun anatomisi ozellikleri pek araflt›r›lmam›fl olan P. fraxinifolia'n›n anatomik yap›s›n› ortaya konmufl, yine ayn› familyaya mensup olan Juglans regia L. odunu ile aras›ndaki farklar belirlenmifltir. P.fraxinifolia'n›n yay›l›fl gosterdii alanlardan toprak ornekleri ve bitkiye ait yaprak ornekleri al›nm›fl ve makro element konsantrasyonlar›n›n genelde normal s›n›rlar icerisinde olduu bulunmufltur. Ancak bazen bu deerler normal s›n›rlar›n uzerine c›kmaktad›r. Ayr›ca Pterocarya-Fraxinetum angustifoliae birliinin icerii belirtilmifltir. Anatomical, Phytosociological and Ecological Properties of Pterocarya Fraxinifolia (Poiret) Abstract: In this study wood anatomical structure, ecological and phytosociological proporties of Pterocarya fraxinifolia (Poiret) Spach which one of the relict species of Turkey and occuring locally at Hac› Osman flooded forest (Tekkekoy-Samsun) have been investigated. The distribution area of the species in Turkey have also been determined. As a result of the study of wood anatomy of P. fraxinifolia have been determined and anatomical properties of P. fraxinifolia have been compared with Juglans regia L. belonging to same family. Leaf and soil samples belonging to P. fraxinifolia were taken and it has been determined that macro element concentrations are between normal ranges although they can be a little bit higher or lower than normal ranges. Phytosociological structure of Pterocaryo-Fraxinetum angustifoliae association have also been determined.
