In this article, our task will be study a debated text of the New Testament (Acts of Apostles 5.1-11) when a couple (Ananias and Saphira) want to join in the Jerusalem’s Christian primitive community, but they are murdered by a violent God’s intervention. The subject is an actual exegetical analysis that going to explain this controversial scene, and a useful pragmatic consideration about the text’s meaning.
