This paper proposes a design for a multimodal dialogue system the goal of which is to ease the interaction of home appliances using speech and graphics within an Ambient Intelligence environment. Also, the paper describes the method for implementing the user-system interaction as well as the procedure to generate the system responses for the user orders, for example, to switch on a light in a room.
