Durch Ozonisierung und anschliessende Decarbonylierung des AB-trans-anellierten Pleuromutilinderivates 71 erhält man die entsprechende 12-Desvinylverbindung 10. Eine 1,5-Hydridverschiebung zwischen den Positionen C-3 und C-111 führt zum AB-cis-konfigurierten Desvinylpleuromutilin 11. Der 12-Methylgruppe des Desvinylpleuromutilins 11 lässt sich aufgrund chemischer und spektroskopischer Überlegungen α-Konfiguration1 zuordnen. Oxidation of the AB-trans-anellated Pleuromutilin-derivative 71 with Ozone followed by decarbonyl- ation gave the corresponding desvinyl-compound 10. A 1,5-hydride shift between C-3 and C-11 leads to the title compound 11. The 12-methyl group of10 was assigned the α-configuration on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic data.
