ResumoResumen: En el presente articulo realizamos un estudio de los comportamientos funerarios documentados en el monasterio de Corias (Cangas del Narcea, Asturias) durante los siglos medievales. A partir del analisis de la distribucion topografica de los enterramientos en el edificio monastico, y conjugando las fuentes escritas y los resultados de la excavacion arqueologica, se advierten las relaciones existentes entre la institucion monastica y la sociedad laica y eclesiastica del suroccidente de Asturias. Palabr as clave: Monasterio, Corias, topografia funeraria, enterramiento, arqueologia Abstract: Study of the funeral behaviors in Corias’s monastery (Cangas del Narcea, Asturias) during the medieval centuries. From the analysis of the topographic distribution of the burials in the monastic building, and bringing together the written sources and the results of the archaeological excavation, they warn the relations between the monastic institution and the lay and ecclesiastic society of the southwest of Asturias.
