ASPECTOS HIDROQUÍMICOS DAS ÁGUAS SOBREJACENTES À PLATAFORMA CONTINENTAL DO AMAZONAS ENTRE OS CABOS ORANGE (AP) E MAGUARI (PA)

ResumoEste trabalho apresenta dados de parâmetros fisicos, fisicos – quimicos e nutrientes inorgânicos dissolvidos (fosfato e silicato) em aguas costeiras sobrejacentes a Plataforma Continental do Amazonas, sob influencia dos rios Amazonas e Para, no trecho compreendido entre os cabos Orange (AP) e Maguari (PA). Foram selecionados 20 pontos de coleta ao longo dessa area, dentro das isobatas de 19 a 100 m. Os resultados obtidos confirmam estudos anteriores e ratificam as apreciaveis influencias de aportes de aguas fluviais originadas do sistema amazonico. O silicato dissolvido mostrou-se tipicamente influenciado pela acao do intemperismo quimico continental, enquanto o fosfato apresentou caracteristicas associadas a um comportamento nao conservativo. ABSTRACT This work presents parameters physics, physical-chemical and nutrients inorganic dissolved (phosphates and silicates) in waters coastal overlying to the Amazon Continental Shelf, under the influence of the Amazons and Para rivers, located among the Orange (AP) and Maguari (PA) capes. It were selected 20 points of collection along that area, inside of the isobaths from 19 to 100m. the obtained results confirm previous studies and they ratify the appreciable influences of contributions of originated fluvial waters of the Amazon system. The dissolved silicate was showm typically influenced by the action of continental chemical weathering, while the phosphate presented characteristics associated to a non-preservative behavior.
