The incursion and expansion of restaurants and hotel chains in Colombia has created various business opportunities, so it is important to analyze this phenomenon from different angles, because it can be a business solution for many companies, investors and individuals. With the rise of international trade and economic openness in Colombia have entered a large number of companies to market in different shapes, they are within the franchise, which has allowed the entry of industry companies such as McDonald's restaurants , Burger King, TGI Fridays, among others. The following article is a brief sample observes the operation and development of the Hard Rock Cafe restaurant Bogota, from their first contact with the parent to its openness and its events over the past 6 years.
