ResumoThe most famous pair of the press photography, Robert Capa and Gerda Taro, also is the most controversial pair at the moment of attributing the professional merits corresponding to each of them. The criteria used by Imre Schaber and Richard Whelan for cataloging according to the size of the negatives is not supported when it is shown that The Falling Soldier picture was made with a Rolleiflex camera and not with the Leica. This finding puts in interdiction the cataloguing of the photos of Gerda Taro corresponding to the first trip to the Spanish Civil War.
