Resumo

Nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of 1,2-difluorobenzene in various nematic solvents have been measured. The interpretation of these spectra leads to a very small anisotropy in the indirect coupling between the fluorine nuclei. The geometrical data, which can be obtained from the dipolar couplings, are compared with those obtained from microwave work and a molecular geometry is proposed that is consistent with the results of these two methods.
