ResumoIn this study it has been considered that schools are contexts in which representations are formed gradually, built in interaction with the material, cultural and ideological conditions of a given context at a given moment. It has been sought to understand the representations standards of a teacher's group about a change proposition submitted by the Municipal Secretary of Education in the period 1993-1996. A content analysis has been carried out about the texts produced by the schools during the discussion of said proposition. Such representations standard appear in differentiated nuances among the different groups, whereby a considerable similarity may be perceived among the schools's representations according to the way how they accede to the proposed change.
