This observation and the results obtained from the study of the antibodies involved, seem to be worth reporting because such reactions are very rare. Also, for the first time, it was possible in this case to explain the serological phenomenon on the basis of an infection with a bacterium containing heterophile antigen.Sheep hemolysins and agglutinins occurring after immunization with an antigen which is present in the tissues of various...References1.
