If, in a capitalist country, you seek workers to get them to tell you the story of their lives, you are asking about an over looked and supressed history. This view of workers' history is in the keeping with workers' on experience. This type of culture work cannot be taken for granted today. We are dealing with a narrative tradition threatened by extinction. In the article, we shall explain how we were confronted with this problem.
