ResumoUntil the present moment, fossils of giant mammals of the Pleistocene were found only in one locality in “Poco Redondo” district. In the “Charco” farm were found: Eremotherium laurillardi, Stegomastodon waringi, Scelidodon (= Catonyx) cuvieri, Palaeolama major, Glossotherium cf. lettsomi, Glyptodon sp. and Toxodon sp. In this work was described the occurrence of two species: E. laurillardi and S. waringiin a new locality in “Poco Redondo” district, call “Tytoya” Farm, and an inference about the distribution of giant mammals during the Pleistocene in Sergipe state was made.
