In the case of jiu jitsu this loss is raised by the obligatory use of kimono, consisted in pants, shirt and underwear, its practice generally occurs in academy rooms, increasing the ambient temperature and the high intensity of its practice. This study aims to measure the hydric loss during a training session of jiu jitsu of 90 minutes taking the weighting of nine athletes, all men, over 18 years old, blue belts at least and participants of official events. None of the athletes ingested water or any other liquid, which is a common action during an ordinary practicing. The evaluation has been done with the weighting of the athletes before and after the practice, wearing only underwear. The result is a significant loss. It is concluded that the athlete shall be aware of the importance of hydro reposition and take it as a habit, avoiding the negative effects of dehydration.
