Este artigo analisa a representacao ficcional das praticas politicas na America Latina no romance O senhor embaixador , de Erico Verissimo. A partir das acoes e reflexoes do personagem-jornalista William B. Godkin, procuro entender como a narrativa trata de temas como revolucao e censura num ambiente de odio e vinganca. This article examines the fictional representation of political practices in Latin America in the novel O senhor embaixador , by Erico Verissimo. From the actions and thoughts of journalist-character William B. Godkin, I try to understand how the narrative deals with issues like censorship and revolution in a land full of hate and revenge.
