ResumoEste artigo e uma reflexao sobre a arte produzida pelos judeus durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial no periodo chamado Holocausto. Para isso, recorremos a Psicanalise, para trabalhar com a hipotese de que a atividade artistica nos guetos e campos de concentracao pode ser considerada como uma forma de resistencia subjetiva a violencia a que os judeus estavam sendo submetidos. Resistencia pela via da sublimacao, ou seja, por meio de um fazer facilitador da elaboracao psiquica, da estruturacao e objetivacao do seu sofrimento, de modo a transformar a perda, a ausencia, a dor em objetos de realizacao artistica. The art produced during the Holocaust - Abstract: This article is a reflection on the art produced by the Jews during the Second World War in the period called the Holocaust. For that, we turn to Psychoanalysis, to work with the hypothesis that the artistic activity in the ghettos and concentration camps can be regarded as a subjective form of resistance to violence that the Jews were being subjected. Resistance through sublimation, i.e. through a facilitator of psychic development, structuring and objectification of their suffering, as a way to transform the absence, loss and pain in objects of artistic achievement.
