ResumoThe oral manifestations caused by the development in man of Taenia saginata or T. solium, as well as localizations within the maxillofacial region of Cysticercus cellulosae or C. bovis are very rare. With reference to five cases of cysticercosis with a single localization in the oral area or associated with other localizations, the authors discuss the morphology and clinical aspects of maxillofacial cysticercosis.
