Resumo

Conidia of Cladosporium herbarum comprised a large part of the total catch. The mean daily periodicity curve for Cladosporium for the whole period of trapping was bimodal, with the major peak at 14.00 hr. followed by a smaller peak at 18·00 hr. g.m.t. The mean daily periodicity curve for 14 days with low maxima of Cladosporium conidia showed a marked depression of the peak at 14·00 hr. High concentrations of Cladosporium conidia were recorded during periods of grass mowing in the vicinity of the trap. Conidia of Pithomyces chartarum were observed on the slides, mainly during one period, when grass mowing was carried out directly up-wind from the trap, and during which very high concentrations of Cladosporium conidia were recorded.
