Other cases of sarcoidosis presenting cardiac symptomatology but not verified by necropsy have been reported but are not within the scope of this paper. Freiman2states that cardiac lesions occur in a fair percentage of cases of sarcoidosis but that serious complications leading to cardiac symptomatology are rare.
