Resumo

The second campaign of archaeological excavations in open area, in the ribat established by the sufi master Ibn Qasi, allowed to identify new structures, namely the remaining portions of a small mosque and minaret (Sector 3), and a set of compartments or oratories, situated in the northeast of the great mosque. A large amount of ceramic sherds were colected and, for the first time, scarce containers with the glased surfaces and others with rope-dry decoration were recovered. However, the coarse ware pottery continues to be present in higher percentages (approximately 70%), corresponding to the kitchen, table or storage wares. Among the metallic objects, we found a copper decorated amulet, a small metal ring of a coat of mesh and a pin, both of bronze, as well as two tips of dart, in iron. A spheric bead, of carnelian, and a bone cossoir were also among the finds.
