ResumoThis text is the product of some reflections that have emerged from studies in the project 'feminization of teaching and impoverishment in Goiás' UFG/CNPQ, in the research group Dialogus -Interdisciplinary Studies on Gender, Work and Culture, and as a teacher of Geography and Urban Industry at the Federal University of Goiás -Campus Catalão -where we develop several papers on the process of industrialization in the city of Catalão, which has been occurring intensely after the decade of 1970, with the installation of mining industries, car and harvesters manufacturers, among others.As a researcher in the field of Gender and coordinator of the course of Gender and Diversity (method extension, in 2009/2010, and Specialization, in 2010/ 2012 -UFG/SECADI/UAB), the interest in women's participation in the restructuring process, their role, forms of integration into the world of work and their relationships in the private space, considering from this new economic reality, awaken new approaches and motivate further researches.To this end, the chosen field of study is teaching.
