The construction of Hydroelectric Power Station Eng. Sérgio Motta in Porto Primavera — Rosana (SP) resulted in social, economics and environmentals consequences for some cities in the edge of Paraná's river. To compensate the possible caused damage, the CESP (Companhia Energética do Estado de São Paulo) acted in diverse ways in the reached cities in states of São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul. This article is a result of a research that seek to know the development processes, diligence and posterior advantage of one of the workmanships compensation effect done by the company in Bataguassu (MS), the craftwork in Nova Porto XV, district of the city. The objective is to understand which is the tourist exploitation of this activity and which is this economic return for the inhabitants of the village.
