ResumoThe present study aims to analyze the novel Mrs. Dalloway, by Virginia Woolf, focusing on the technique of stream of consciousness, as well as the analysis of the character Clarissa Dalloway in the perspective of the narrator. To this end, we used the studies of Robert Humprhey, Antonio Candido, Arnaldo Franco Junior, Anatol Rosenfeld, among others. Coming from the importance of the work of Virginia Woolf to literature’s world, this study developed an analysis of the Woolf ’s character Clarissa Dalloway, in all its psychological universe of profound negativity.
