ResumoPropene and 1-hexene were polymerized with the conventional TiCl3-Al(C2H5)2Cl catalyst in the presence of Zn(C2H5)2 as chain transfer reagent. The produced Zn-polymer bonds were reacted with oxygen gas followed by hydrolysis, which produced corresponding terminally hydroxylated polyolefins in a fairly good yield.
