ResumoBHIKKHU BODHI is an American Buddhist monk, originally from New York City. He received monastic ordination in 1972 in Sri Lanka, where he lived for over twenty years. He is the author, translator, or editor of many significant publications including A Comprehensive Manual of Abhidhamma, The Connected Discourses of the Buddha (Samyutta Nikaya), and In the Buddha’s Words: An Anthology of Discourses from the Pail Canon. He is presently working on a complete translation of the Anguttara Nikaya. He lives and teaches at Chuang Yen Monastery in upstate New York. He also teaches at Bodhi Monastery in New Jersey.
