Resumo

The species Quekettia vermeuleniana Determann is recorded for the first time in the Brazil, in the state of Amazonas (Manaus), and it was collected in dense ombrophilous forest. A description and an illustration for the species, and an identification key for Brazilian species are provided for a better identification.
