ResumoAbout 3.2% in total number of laparotomy in the Dr. Domingo Luciani Hospital in 7 years were founded iliac vessels trauma. This kind of injuries frequently are presented together with anothers injuried sites, mortality was ranged according to the injuried vessel and its mechanism 24% of laparotomies were associated to iliac vessels trauma, gunshot injuries were the main cause. Common iliac injury was the must prevalent and associated mostly to injuried cava vein, aorta and small intestine, when vein injury occurs ligature was the preferable conduct. Total mortality was 35% because of that vascular trauma is a situation that demands high experience of the surgical team due to its high mortality. * Unidad de Politraumatizados “Dr. Fernando Rodriguez Montalvo”.
