ResumoGulella mkuu spec. nov. is described from montane forest in the isolated Ndoto Mountains of northern Kenya. Although exceptionally large for the genus, shell, genitalia and radula features suggest it is more closely related to the sellae-ugandensis complex than to other very large East African species in the subgenus Primigulella Pilsbry. G. mkuu spec. nov. is apparently endemic to the Ndotos.
