In Kosovo the renewal of hostilities between Serbs and Albanians, the outbreak of the war and the following division of the two communities in the frame of a political and social context afflicted by continuous tensions, have been the scenario of multiple violence. The memories of that violence exacerbated the nationalist public discourse as well as they affected individual narratives about the conflict: such processes will be analyzed through the testimonies collected on the field in the aftermath of the war.
