It is more frequently overlooked and more inadequately treated than almost any other disease of real consequence. If one reflects that every "cold in the head" is a possible attack of sinusitis, that each attack is apt to leave some little trace of its presence, increased by subsequent attacks and encouraging still other attacks, so that finally there is a chronic, permanent sinus infection, easily tolerated, a latent source of infection for all other portions of the body, then it becomes evident...Bibliography1.
