Resumo

The tools of mathematical modeling and simulation were applied to the first stage of the process of sugar production in an ingenious Colombian. We developed a mathematical model for the steady-state phase in which the main product is obtained as the juice will be diluted to subsequent processes for raw sugar and by-product bagasse which is currently used for the manufacture of paper and fuel in the boilers that powered the steam needed for the process. Was developed to simulate a user-friendly graphical interface using was development in a programming language C#. NET, of the educative platform for Visual Studio 2008.Through the simulation was known data flows diluted juice and bagasse, as well as during the extraction process and the consumption of steam and energy of this stage.
