An excellent review of the subject by Craver and Haagensen appeared in 1932.1They reported on seven patients observed at Memorial Hospital, and discussed some of the concepts of the pathogenesis of the disorder. A more extensive report of herpes zoster occurring in 42 cases of leukemia reveals that this neurologic complication develops much more commonly in lymphocytic leukemia than in the granulocytic form.2Of 916...Bibliography1.
