ResumoA robust Smith controller for plant with large delay is proposed. A nonlinear PD controller is design to auto tune on-line the parameters of robust controller such that the closed system is of robust stability as well as good dynamic performance. The simulation results show that the method can control the plant with large time-variable delay properly.
