A comienzos de los anos cuarenta los almerienses recuperan su interes por el deporte fundando multiples equipos de futbol. La pequena dimension de estos equipos impide poder alcanzar un nivel aceptable en la competicion nacional. Por eso, los lideres politicos locales franquistas intervienen fundando un equipo que reunira a los mejores jugadores. La accion de los gobernadores civiles sera determinante; intervencion que llevara incluso a nombrar como Presidente del club al Delegado Provincial de Sindicatos franquistas. Durante el periodo estudiado la situacion economica y sanitaria es muy deficiente; tambien los procesos judiciales contra la Seguridad del Estado se incrementan a fines del decenio en Almeria. Fuera del pais, los aliados debaten la posibilidad de intervenir para derribar el regimen de Franco. En este contexto de problemas economicos, sociales y politicos, los poderes publicos vieron la necesidad de mediatizar el deporte al objeto de utilizarlo como estabilizador social. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- At the beginning of the forties the natives of Almeria recover their interest by sport founding multiple clubs of football. The small dimension of these teams prevents them to be able to reach an acceptable level in the national competition. Because of it, the political pro-Franco local leaders will intervene founding a club that will assemble the best players. The action of the civil Governors will be determinant; intervention that will even take to name like President of the club pro-Franco Provincial Delegate of Unions. During the studied period the economic and sanitary situation is very deficient; the judicial processes against the Security of the State increase at the end of the decade in Almeria. Out of the country, the Allies debate the possibility of intervening to knock down Franco's regime. In this context of economic, social and political problems, the public powers saw the need to control the Sport in order to use it as social stabilizer.
