The growth and populational densification in cities has increased the importance of urban space's qualities, and on this subject this article aims to realize the assessment of environmental quality of urban basin of the Ribeirao do Lipa, located in the city of Cuiaba / MT, using as reference models for assessment of urban environment based on environmental and health infrastructure and roads, to which weights were assigned according to their relevance to the state of urban environment quality. The study was conducted in the urban part of the basin of the Ribeirao do Lipa, which is one of the best preserved among those included in the urban area of Cuiaba and has passed in recent years by severe urbanization process.
